Thursday 5 September
International animal rights conference. The 13th International Animal Rights Conference will be held from 5 to 8 September 2024 at the Kulturfabrik in Esch. This event is aimed at all those who campaign for animal rights or who want to learn more about animal issues, both theoretically and practically. The programme includes lectures, workshops, stands run by committed groups and 100% vegan meals. Some of the lectures will also be available online this year.

Open Day at Train 1900: A journey through railway history. Train enthusiasts and the curious of all ages won't want to miss this open day at Train 1900, in Fond-de-Gras. From 11am to 6pm, take a behind-the-scenes look at the maintenance and operation of steam locomotives on guided tours led by volunteers from the association. You can also watch captivating demonstrations by blacksmiths and discover the art of metalwork. Younger visitors can take part in a creative workshop to make and paint their own wooden locomotive, compatible with Brio and Ikea circuits. In addition, four steam locomotives will be in service that day. .

Xanti Schawinsky: Play, Life, Illusion--a Retrospective + Schawinsky Reloaded by Monster Chetwynd.Thisoutside Switzerland. Heritage Days at the Gaspar Museum. The Gaspar Museum invites you to a heritage day accessible to all! There will be special facilities for people with special needs: a tour for the visually impaired, a guide in that’s easy to read and understand, and two interactive digital tables accessible to all. Guided tours adapted to a variety of audiences will be offered, including a dedicated tour for the blind and partially sighted.
